WHY ARE ULTRA-CAPS MADE FROM DOUBLE SS SPUNBOND NONWOVEN WHEN ALL OTHER MOB CAPS (disposable hairnets) are made from a SINGLE SPUNBOND NONWOVEN?
The DOUBLE SS nonwoven, although more expensive, and is known as a MEDICAL GRADE, better meets the requirements of FOOD & PHARMACEUTICAL manufacturers, when used by their employees in their manufacturing environments.
ULTRA-CAPS are made in the UK, other MOB CAPS (disposable hairnets) are made in China/Asia and imported into the UK by Distributors.
The DOUBLE SS Nonwoven used for the ULTRA-CAPS provides the following enhanced features over the SINGLE spunbonded nonwoven used for those imported into the UK.
- Provides better containment of Hair strands and most important Scalp debris (including Hair Laquer spray particles).
- The fine quality enables a lighter weight to be used:
- Cooler wearing for the employee for all day wear.
- Stronger construction eliminates any “gaps” when made up into the final headwear.
- Fabric breathes allowing dispersion of perspiration.
- The DOUBLE SS Medical Grade produces much more comfortable headwear for the wearer, so reducing the adjusting and lifting occurrences by the wearer, which is the main contribution to Hair & Scalp Contamination in Food & Pharmaceutical environments.
It should be noted that the MOB CAPS (Disposable Hairnets) which are imported into the UK, all use the SINGLE SPUNBOND NONWOVENS of varying qualities to achieve a cost advantage. However, these reduced qualities do not provide the necessary level of performance and benefits provided by the use of a DOUBLE SS MEDICAL GRADEfabric.
